What we collect, how it's stored, and how to reach us about it.
The rider survey on survey.html asks about ridership frequency, entertainment ratings, requested act types, and a quiet-car preference. None of that identifies you.
At the bottom of the survey there's an optional section for people interested in becoming a performer: name, phone, email, social handle, and act. These fields are blank by default — nothing is required to submit the survey, and skipping them keeps your response fully anonymous.
Responses are saved to a plain CSV file on our web host, kept in a directory outside the public web root — meaning it isn't reachable by URL, even if someone guessed the filename. Only the site administrator has access to it.
Aggregate results — totals, averages, and counts, never individual responses — are shown publicly on our results page and shared with LA Metro as part of our advocacy for a formal community arts partnership.
If you filled in the optional contact fields, that information is used only by Metro Performers to reach out about performing opportunities. It is never published, never included in the public results page, and never sold or shared with any third party.
This site doesn't use analytics, tracking cookies, or third-party ad scripts. The only external resource loaded is Google Fonts, for typography.
If you filled in contact info and want it deleted, email us and we'll remove your row from the response file. Since responses aren't tied to any account or login, please include enough detail (roughly when you submitted, and what you entered) so we can find the right entry.
